Annual Georgia Steeplechase Race
On April 7,2018 approximately 25,000 fans are expected at Kingston Downs for the Georgia Steeplechase. The Atlanta Steeplechase has closed its doors and Georgia Steeplechase has taken over the 52 year old tradition. This year’s event will benefit the local Boys & Girls Club of America, Trinity Rescue, Save The Horses, Must Ministries, and Sunkissed Acres Equine Rescue. This event is Georgia’s spring social and sporting event of the year. The event will be held at the beautiful 435-acre Kingston Downs complex. Guests range from children to corporate executives and the event offers a wide range of opportunities for spectators. Steeplechase patrons enjoy the circuit’s best horses and jockeys showcased in premier races throughout the afternoon. The daylong event is filled with more than racing: there are hat contests, tent contests, a hound parade, terrier races, shopping, people watching, and so much more. The Georgia Steeplechase offers something for everyone. Tickets range from $50-$5,000 with children 12 and younger admitted for free. For more information visit Georgiasteeplechase.org
