How long have you been in business?
Zims Cajun Catering officially started in 2009. But, I grew up in my Fathers kitchen so I've been cooking for fifty years.
What is your primary product or service?
We customize each meal to suit the customer. I specialize in Cajun foods and wood smoked meats and will build a menu off of that base. I teach cooking and the proper use of aged wood in smoking meats.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I began cooking at the age of thirteen in my Father's restaurant, Zims Steaks & Seafood, in Louisiana in 1963.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There aren't any other business like mine in this area. I cook and deliver hot food according to my customers needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
No locations. I bring the food to my customer.

Which areas do you service?
Anywhere....I'll transport my smoker and cooking tools to any location....especially the coast...if I can get in some salt water fly fishing

Cooking is long hours in the kitchen. I work according to the hours needed to prepare and deliver food fresh and hot.
