How long have you been in business?
We opened our doors on June 23, 2010, so are in out 4th year!
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary services are doggie daycare and boarding. Daycare is steady throughout the year, while boarding peaks during holidays and summer.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In my previous life I worked in corporate IT. I stayed home for several years after having my two daughters. I always wanted to start my own business. I have loved dogs my whole life. It was not until we moved to Georgia and was looking for a place to leave my puppy while on vacation that I saw the need for a quality dog care facility in this area. I wanted to open a facility that I would be happy to leave my dog.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As the owner, I am fully involved with daily operations, getting to know all our doggie guests and their families. Our staff are truly dog lovers. Our facility and daily schedule allows our doggie guests to have several hours of playtime in our outdoor and indoor play areas. Our dogs are put into smaller groups, each with a group leader. This allows our staff to really get to know the dogs and a safer environment.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have just one location conveniently located between Alpharetta and Cumming on Hwy 9. We are expanding the size of our current location to accommodate more daycare and boarding guests.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located on Hwy 9 across the street from the Midway Meal House, halfway between exits 12 and 13 of GA 400. Coming north on Hwy 9, we are about 1.5 miles north of McFarland on the right side. Coming south on Hwy 9, we are on the left side immediately after the light at Campground Rd.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
Most of our customers are from Cumming, Alpharetta and Milton. We do have several customers from farther away that are willing to travel for good care of the their dogs.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Kelly, the owner, works the front desk most days.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday - Saturday from 7am to 7pm. On Sundays and holidays we are not open for daycare, and are open for boarding drop-off and pick-up between the hours or 7-11am and 3-7pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We love it when dogs drag their dogs into our facility. The best compliment are when customers refer us to their friends.
