Printing... LDI stands for "Large Document Imaging," a large document being defined as one larger than 8 1/2" x 11." LDI also provides small-format quick copy services. Our services are used by architects, engineers, general contractors, sub-contractors and materials suppliers, CAD service bureaus, freelance consultants, manufacturing engineers, companies that produce parts and service manuals, real estate agencies and developers, lawyers, mapping and geophysical specialists, environmental engineers and sub-disciplines, etc. Today, LDI does with modern electrostatic and digital technology what blueprinters do with old-fashioned blueprints.
Print Distribution... Document distribution is as important to our customers as printing, and we have developed many innovative distribution services, including Plans-on-File, Digital Courier Service, and global document distribution via Internet. Today, LDI is a major distributor of bid documents in the Southeast United States.
Information Services... In 1991 LDI launched a daily electronic publication called the LDI-LineŽ, which provides current information on construction projects being bid and built in the Southeastern United States. The LDI-Line is published in four, separate editions, one for Georgia, one for the Carolinas, one for Alabama, and one for Florida. Bid packages can be ordered directly from LDI for same-day delivery locally, nationally or worldwide. Today, LDI plays a key part in the bid process for hundreds of architects, General Contractors and their subs and material suppliers in Georgia, the Carolinas and Florida.
